Our Story

It all started with Priya's passion for customizations in home décor & living industry. After studying textile closely and switching several jobs, she was furious with the boundaries of doing things old fashioned way. She always craved for having out of the box options for decorating homes. She believed that no two people are same so how can their homes be! And that's when KACHCHA AAM was born in July, 2020.

But why this name? Kachcha Aam is more of an eatable item and not decorating, then how does it suits this brand? Well, actually yes. Kachcha Aam is a hindi word for raw mango. There were two reasons for finalizing this name.

First, it’s something we all are familiar with since our childhood, so it was easy to remember.

Second reason is a long story short, in our Indian society, pickles have been a part of the culture and history for 4,000 years. Kachcha Aam or raw mango is the heart of pickle industry and is the right name to connect to it. As a pickle adds an extra flavour to any meal, so does our brand. From years we have been loving our dadi or nani ke hath ka Achaar (pickle). This name Kachcha Aam precisely connects women and their passion to add extra flavour, be it your meal or your home.

Our brand is a blend of customizations, Bohemian, Quirky and evergreen products. We try our best to bring the collections that can easily blend in any type of décor your home has. Adding that extra charm to every corner of your home is what we love doing.
